Link Exchanges

A number of programs, known as “link exchanges,” will allow your link to be listed on the blogs of others, so long as you carry on your blog a small ad that lists the blogs of others who are members of the same program. A link exchange works the same way as a blog ring, tying all the featured blogs into a big circle, with the exception that the blogs you link to may not be similarly grouped as they are for most blog rings. When you sign up for the link exchange, you’ll receive credits every time your page displays the links of others, and your credits are used up as your blog is displayed on the blogs of other members of the link exchange.

Advertising for free seems like an impossible thing when heard. But there are several ways by which the cost of advertisement can be conserved, with the help of some imagination and creativity.

A business wanting to advertise, can write articles related to their field of expertise that can be submitted to media and publications having interest in that particular field. The advertising article can have information about the company and dealership opportunity. Due to the rise in Internet users and websites, new websites have sprung up which offer free services. Articles can be written for these websites and they can be broadcasted for free, which will be viewed by hundreds of people everyday.

Once the business has gained some recognition, within no time it will gain popularity also among the crowds. This popularity can lead to them being invited on radio and television talk shows and even to interviews. Such kind of opportunities shouldn’t be missed as they provide a chance for free promotion. If it is taking a long time to get a break, the producer can be addressed with a letter that can be followed up by a telephone call or in-person visit. During the visit, the nature of expertise can be discussed about the business, which will be of interest to the viewers of the particular channel. Once a businessperson gains the status of being public-friendly, more offers start pouring in.

Free bulletin board located in the neighborhood, like in grocery stores, libraries, and salons, are another good idea. Advertising circulars can be posted on such boards for free. Circulars for mass distribution can be handed out at the mall, shopping center, bus stops, particularly on weekends when there is a big rush. Students can be hired on part time basis for this purpose.

Promotional advertisement can be printed on the envelopes used by the business firms. Both the sender and the receiver can view this advertisement. Promotional offers can be sent to customers by postcards, which should be utilized to its full, leaving only place left for writing the address.

Some of the new mail order publications offer free first time and seasonal deductions for advertisers. Other publications offer pay per inquiry space. Inquiries can be made about stand-by space, which means that the publication holds the submission of advertisement until the space is not sold and in that case, thirty three percent saving can be achieved. Usually local newspapers provide these kinds of offers.

If the business is involved in ad sheet or catalog publishing, other publishers can be contacted for the purpose of bartering an advertising exchange. They can place advertisement in their publication, in return for placing their advertisement in the business’s publication.

Free offers can be provided to the customer. This can be done by emailing or printing newsletter about information regarding the area of interest of the targeted customers and can be made popular by using tag lines. Attach a free coupon with it, which the customers can use it for shopping, if a criterion is met like minimum purchase of $ 50. By this the response will be huge and most of them will purchase something or the other to avail the free offer. The basic ingredient for advertising for free is imagination and research. Opportunities should be searched and a strong working force should be applied to increase the sales.

If your MLM business relies on cold calls, referrals, instant messenger communications, and e-mails you already know the importance of properly qualifying prospects. You need to learn about your prospect and their needs and then figure out how your product meets those needs. That means you need a qualified prospect.

What’s a qualified prospect and where on earth do you find them. A qualified prospect is a person (or business) who needs or wants your product because it satisfies a need or solves some problem they have. How will your prospect know if what you’re offering is going to help? They’ve never heard of you or your product until you contacted them. They’ll know because you’ve done your homework before contacting them and know what will enhance their business. That’s where good solid Internet research comes in handy.
Now you start getting to know your prospect, or in other words, you start relationship marketing. Over time talking to them, you’ll get a clear picture about them and their needs, and you’ll know if you want to work with them on your Team. REMEMBER: Your products and your service and how you offer it and conduct business IS YOUR BUSINESS and you don’t want just anyone to help you build it.
Some will let you know right away they aren’t interested. Some will call you names. Some simply don’t understand how you could possibly help them, until you educate them. And here’s something you need to know and work WITH, not against. Some prospects for your Team will rule themselves out with their questions to you. For instance: How hard do I have to work to make any money? How fast can I make money? Is this an MLM scheme? You’ll know right away your business isn’t for them. Why? Because they will not work to make your business work for them or for you. And you’re not in business to lose business or customers.

Don’t waste countless hours trying to convince people to work with you. They either want to because they recognize the value of the opportunity or they don’t want to and hounding them isn’t going to make any difference.

When you think about search engine rankings, you usually think of search engine optimization (SEO). The tweaking, and juggling of something called algorithms to get a higher ranking. First of all, SEO is highly over rated and has been made way too complicated. What really happens is this - people go to search for something - be it cars, handbags or home business opportunities - and they type certain search words into the browser. It’s the WORDS people use to search that really affect your rankings. Yes, there are other things that affect the rankings, but by and large it’s a pretty basic little old word or two that kicks off the whole thing.

Key Effectiveness Index is the ranking of words used by people when they search for product A. They get site A through D etc. as a result because the words they used to search are prominently used on those sites - either in the meta tags at the top of the page (something you can not see) - or they are used in your copy (most often the top 25 words as that is what the engines typically crawl). Okay you’re thinking, so what? How does that relate to me and article marketing?

This is so easy you’ll be delighted, because anyone can do this effectively. Article marketing means YOU provide something you’ve written - on marketing, home business opportunities, training, etc. - to other Web sites, blogs, and eZines for FREE. Yup, FREE! Why? Because in return you get to include a short bio and links back to your site in the resource box that appears at the end of your article. By the way, your article will fit into a niche that you get to pick. So if you want to write about team building or blogging, then your site link should lead back to a site that most directly relates to your topic.

Blogging is becoming an increasingly popular way for entrepreneurs to earn a living online while doing something they really enjoy. In many cases bloggers can profit with very little effort. There may be quite a bit of work involved in the beginning with designing a method of gaining revenue and promoting the website but once this is established simply maintaining the blog with regular postings may be enough to keep the revenue rolling in. Two of the most popular methods for generating a profit from blogging include advertising methods. This includes advertising with AdSense and securing independent advertisers. This article will discuss these two methods of advertising on a blog.

Using AdSense to Generate Revenue

Using AdSense is one of the most popular ways for bloggers to generate revenue from their blog. This method is so popular because it is also very simple. AdSense is a program offered by Google where bloggers agree to have advertisements on their website and are compensated when users click on these advertisements. Bloggers simply have to create a blog and submit the website address of the blog as well as some other information to apply for participation in AdSense. Once a blog is approved the owner is given code they can simply copy and paste to have advertisements displayed on their blog. Google then serves appropriate advertisements each time the blog is accessed. Whenever possible, the advertisements served on the blog are closely related to the content of the blog because Google crawls the website ahead of time to determine which advertisements are relevant to the content. Blog owners do have some ability to place restrictions on the types of advertisements which may appear on the blog. For example the blog owner can specify adult advertisements are not to appear on the blog and Google will filter these out.
